My most flavour theater show, the phantom of the opera. I was lucky to watch it few weeks ago and the scene I draw above was the most memorable one. I love it a lot because of a beautiful balance of layout perform in a moving action scene. The music is still repeating in my mind and images start flashing in front of my eye. Love it!

A vector graphic that explain every performance that prepared by the restaurant for their customer on the opening party. The graphic is based on photo reference and it re-path with line, and stroke and my personal's experience.

Having a fast painting section with Julian and he open a topic for me to spare my jobless time. I took five hours to finish it and I had experimental new tools in Painter. The theme is about Cloud Soldier, I got no idea what meaning of cloud soldier. Therefore, I just draw cloud and soldier. Haha.

What is the future? what kind of outfit will us wear? What is the main objective of daily life? Are we still going to stay in the earth or out of the space? Questioning in my mind after watching the 7 ways to the end of the earth.

[illustration] The Blood Eater and Squid Ant

Barbarian type of fighter helps me to experimental on muscle, shape and fierce facial expression. In additions, I also tried on colour matching for the night scene and skin colour. However, I'm quite satisfied on this painting.


The Squid Ant is a fun fusion on different creature into a monster. This monster I wanted it to be disgusting and freaky for audiences senses. Furthermore, green colour give curios and horrorble feeling. Background image shows a bright enviroment which cost by the neon light of the monster eggs.

Marker rendering school work during my college. The piece of advert promotes the diet donut by Dunkin's Donut. The image presents a young lady who successful on diet. She obtain a slim and sexy body but wearing a loose clothes. In additions, the girl is playing a donut hula hoop. The purpose of showing this is to shows the donut help the audience who love donut have no worry on the calory. Furthermore, it projects a healthy and energetic lifestyle for the audiences.

After the forth times I visited National Art Gallery in London and inspired by the magazine name ImagineFX. I decided to draw a portrait of a female warrior. She is a Queen with shinny golden armor and a sword name "Save the Queen" living a very far and ancient kingdom. She beautiful yet has a strong staminal to lift up her really heavy sword and protecting hers royal family from the enemy. (I guess that the usual background story that a queen should have, anyway it just my imagination)

Another background for GokuJournals blog's background. The theme is showing the new life in London and experienced the first heavy snow since I came to the UK.

[Advertising] Energy Saving Trust

During my second semester of MA Visual Communication. I did a campaign about global warming. The topic I chose is to promote energy saving ideal to the public and the client I had picked is Energy Saving Trust. In additions, the audience I targeted is middle class families in the UK, parents who have moderate income.

Objective of the campaign is to helps audience to save up their monthly income, reduce energy wasted and fight climate change. Energy saving trust is the website that successfully advice people save up to 20 percent of energy that we used everyday.

Concept: Please switch off all the unused enery source because wasting energy may reduce your power of comsumption.

My very first series of advertising campaign. The objective is to promote Tiger Beer to younger generation in Malaysia. In additions, Tiger Beer makes you look out-standing and energetic in night life. Each of the advert done in one day time, from pencil drawing to illustrator vector art. Alcohol liquid is done in Photoshop because I wish to high-light the product and smoother feeling for the drinking sensation.

An caricature I drew for my girl friend's grandmother for celebrating her 80 years old birthday.

The first summer vacation in Stratford-upon-Avon. I'm loving the nature and peaceful atmosphere of the small little town. Cold wind kiss my face, Swans floating on the canal and Century old houses let I walk into history.

Illustration above is to express my feeling on a british old town in summer time. Although the view looks warm and energetic but it feels cold, fresh and peaceful.

Caricature I drew for my ex-colleague's wedding card. The caricature is based on my imagination and the photo which I received from the bride. I painted the illustration with Wacom and Photoshop.

[illustration] TM Net TVC Conceptual Board

A conceptual board for TM Net, Malaysia broadband company. All illustration are based on references and I had slightly tune the dominant colour to warm orange colour which help to unite all illustration and bring evening colour mood. The concept of this conceptual board shows a futurism and fantasy lifestyle where people used internet link to each others. The story was happen on a female character and everyone is singing happily to show their satisfaction on the broadband.

[Design] Aquaria KLCC Mascot Design

During the working days in The One Academy, I entered a mascot design competition for Aquaria KLCC, Malaysia. The character has won me the third prize which has the opportunity to feed the shark in the aquarium. Unfortunately, I isn't good in swimming so I had give up the prize.

[Design] Malaysia Independence Day Backdrop

Backdrop of Malaysia Independence Day in Sunway Pyramid shopping center is one of my project during my working days in The One Academy. The brief needs me to produce a backdrop that promote Malaysia Independence day and a children craft festival event which held by Da Vinci children drawing center. I did two different version for the client to choose.


Version 1
Wao is a craft that can represent Malaysia art and culture. Therefore, I make it as the core element in the backdrop to spread my client message to the audiences. In addition, others supportive elements such as shadow puppet and Chinese dragon show the multi races in Malaysia.


Version 2
The second version is to express the 49 years on Malaysia renovation and cultural. We have the multi races and different cultural background, yet we are living in a peaceful country.
