Barbarian type of fighter helps me to experimental on muscle, shape and fierce facial expression. In additions, I also tried on colour matching for the night scene and skin colour. However, I'm quite satisfied on this painting.

The Squid Ant is a fun fusion on different creature into a monster. This monster I wanted it to be disgusting and freaky for audiences senses. Furthermore, green colour give curios and horrorble feeling. Background image shows a bright enviroment which cost by the neon light of the monster eggs.

I found the sources I wanted from another magazines to form the Paradise Travel Magazine. The text were dummy and meaningless for the contents. Above is part of the magazine's spreads. There are 3 fiction and 3 sub-fiction in the magazine. Main objective of the magazine is to introduce "hot spot" for travellers in Malaysia. In this project, I'm going to re-brand Alpha Oriental Group and the companies which specialist in franchising amusement machine and entertainment industry in Malaysia. Alpha Oriental group has four major businesses which is manufacture amusement game machines, children amusement theme park, photo sticker machines outlet and karaoke outlet. Each of them has different market segment and target audiences so I have to come out with different marketing plans, corporate identity and promotional tools.

My final outcome in this project will be a redesign version of the company's website. Redesign the website is more important than other works because it is a useful and effective promotional tool to spread the company's information and latest news to public. Furthermore, it is a space to build a long term relationship with its customer and maintain Alpha Oriental group's brand equity. Beside website design, a functional and unique stationary set also an important tool for a strong brand. It shows the unity design and core brand's characteristic for theirs staff and customer. Then, I will design a corporate brochure as a promotional and business tool for audiences who interested to become their franchisees.

After the forth times I visited National Art Gallery in London and inspired by the magazine name ImagineFX. I decided to draw a portrait of a female warrior. She is a Queen with shinny golden armor and a sword name "Save the Queen" living a very far and ancient kingdom. She beautiful yet has a strong staminal to lift up her really heavy sword and protecting hers royal family from the enemy. (I guess that the usual background story that a queen should have, anyway it just my imagination)

Recently, I accepted a freelance job for a Chinese Film Organisation. Objective of the job is to create an image for the Chinese Film Festival 2009 Poster. Unfortunately, I didn't received any deposit and the design fee that they offer is to low so the project has to determined. The image above shows the revolution of China film history. The requirement of the poster is to use the scenes which supplied by the client and apply the taste and style of each revolution period on the photo. After the project became an unborn baby, I had fixed the unfinish rough colour thumb and made it look slightly nicer.

The objective of this campaign is to express the unique selling point for the public and promote the differences from other social service charity agencies. Furthermore, I wanted target audiences to help those unfortunate children by contact ISSUK.

In this campaign is to create awareness in traditional and alternative approach. Help advertisement getting up close with audiences and spread the ideas in a way that they least expected.

Concept of press advert: This advert shows a pair of hand sending a Chinese child across ocean, with the tag line “Lend a hand for the unfortunate children”.

The concept of this advert is to show ISSUK need many strength from the UK citizen to achieve the goal. The storyboard has the unique tone and manner with the press advert.The TV Commercial is in 30 second and I have separated it into 15 frames.

Ambient Media

Objective of using ambient media to promote the USP of ISSUK is to draw attention easily, building strong images in mind and convey the message directly to target audience.

The false child has the same size as a real child. It’s to make illusion for public that a homeless child are waiting for you help. In addition, it also bring the concept to audience of do not let the next generation suffering like the victims of war world2.

Another concept is on the heart sticker located at the name list below the sculpture. Concept of this heart shape is to making link between ISSUK concept and the meaning of the sculpture “ memorial of all victims of the Blitz on Birmingham.”

The key objective of this campaign is to get the country to focus on this violent. In additions, it's to prevention of knife crime and reduce the number of knives on our streets.

I came out a small iconic sticker which has multiple function to spread the word. It will be give away for public to stick around and spread the message of reducing crime. Furthermore, some of the sticker will place by staff to create a unite meaning.

[Ambient Media] Break Through

I had change the D&AD brief to my own version of learning on Ambient Media. By using ambient media to promote breast awareness during the UK’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month (BCAM) in October 2008.

Concept
The concept of this message string is to create an illusion for audience to tell them that this artwork will send for check up soon. On the other hand, it’s to remind audience that is time to go for a breast cancer check up. I chose gallery and museum as the tool to spread my message because I'm targeting fourty to sixty female audiences who live in the UK.

Message
The artworks with string tell the audiences that this piece of statue is currently not open for public becuase it needs to be checking up. Like the crime scene, there are a string surrounded to avoid people get closer.

Medium
The string will place on all female artworks such as statue, oil canvas, stained glass with full body can be tie with the string to convey the concept to public.

Another D&AD brief that I change for my master subject. Through ambient media, I need to sell the idea that breastfeeding is a positive choice that young people will want to make when they become parents. The target audience is young people, especially teenagers from lower socio-economic groups.

Champion baby bowling event is held in the bowling alley in the UK. This ambient media advertisement will transform a lane or two into a special lane that promote the benefit of breast feeding. The objective is to tell audiences breast milk is better than other milk. The ball represent women breast and pin represent bottle. It tells the message of beating down or against other milk from the baby. Poster on the lane showing the message “ The more pins yhou hit down and it makes you baby as a champion baby”. In additions, it’s to show breast feeding is a good starting point for them.

The game
By using Milk bottle replace the pins and breast replace the ball to tell the message “ against other milk beside breast milk”.

The lane
Huge poster sticking on the end of the lane. The image shows the baby is friendly welcome breast milk to make him as a champion of tomorrow.

Target audience
The game is targeting female and young generation. Bowling is suitable and match my target audience because the game is suitable for every socio-economic group and it’s a healthy game. Suitable for women who just gave birth to lose their weight.

Another D&AD brief that I did for my final master subject. The purpose of doing this campaign is to use ambient media to reinforce Grazia's fashion Credentials to those visiting London Fashion Week. In additions, it's to cement Grazia's deep-rooted relationship with the world of high fashion.

Concept :
I choose Paris Hilton as the spoke-person for this event and promotional tour because Paris Hilton has the similar character with Grazia magazine. She is a famous model, actress and materialistic who audience will keep an eye on her lifestyle and fashion. By inviting her to the event will help making news on the media.

Target Audience :
By using celebrity on product as a spoke person will attract attention of the audience who love fashion and create a positive expression on the magazine.

The topic I chose is to promote energy saving ideal to the public and the client I had picked is Energy Saving Trust. In additions, the audience I targeted is middle class families in the UK, parents who have moderate income.

Objective of the campaign is to helps audience to save up their monthly income, reduce energy wasted and fight climate change. Energy saving trust is the website that successfully advice people save up to 20 percent of energy that we used everyday.

One of my three best ideas about promoting Singapore tourism for Malaysian. The concept of this billboard is about much joyfulness and excitement experience that you can find in a tiny country, Singapore.

The second brand I did is promoting Colgate toothpaste helps you build stronger tooth and the relation between the brand and customer are unbreakable, just like a married couple.

Backdrop of Malaysia Independence Day in Sunway Pyramid shopping center is one of my project during my working days in The One Academy. The brief needs me to produce a backdrop that promote Malaysia Independence day and a children craft festival event which held by Da Vinci children drawing center. I did two different version for the client to choose.

Version 1
Wao is a craft that can represent Malaysia art and culture. Therefore, I make it as the core element in the backdrop to spread my client message to the audiences. In addition, others supportive elements such as shadow puppet and Chinese dragon show the multi races in Malaysia.

Version 2
The second version is to express the 49 years on Malaysia renovation and cultural. We have the multi races and different cultural background, yet we are living in a peaceful country.

I love superhero very much! The following artworks is based on my imagination before I step into the cinema. These artworks had win consolation prizes for me and I'm glad that I had the chances to show off the heroes from my point of view.

Dragon Tiger Gate movie talks about three young mans with excellent Chinese martial art who stand with justice and protecting citizen from the bad guys. I loves Kung Fu action movie as much as those superior skills of superhero movie because of their elegance yet violence movement.

After first and second Spiderman movies, the animation really stun me on the landscape of skyscraper and the elastic body. In the third Spiderman movie, there are more stronger enemies who obtain special power that caught my attention in the trailer.

Beside Spiderman, X-men also came to the third movie. This was my very first superhero fans art. I'm having fun while experimented the body structure and the action of the fight, specially when I tried to copy my funny and odd pose onto Wolverine.

"I tried to improve the quality of the photo, not sure what's wrong with the quality of the photo."

Took around 3 hours to draw and colour the bull. First time try on speed painting (although I know 3 hours is quite long). Concept of the calendar is to increase the spirit and royalty of employee and customer to the company. These three parties help each other to achieve all the goals and targets. Golden Bull represent the company's strength and always moving forward in year 2009.

Chinese New Year Card
Furthermore, I'm doing a Chinese New Year Card for the company. The card is in a postcard format and the layout spread the message directly to the customer. Cow Mascot shows the company is friendly and sincere to serve all type of customer. Back side of the postcard has the image of the company outlook and it is for customer easy to recognise and memorize.

The calendar above was the previous year version. 2008 is a golden rat year for the Chinese. Therefore, I drew all the rats in cartoon character style because brilliant colour and funny shape can easy attract audience's attraction. In additions, it also represent energetic and happy atmosphere in the company. The image makes people feel passion and trusted on the quality of the company's products and services.

Most of designers are additing on bad hobbies? Overnight work, coffee and cigarette are killing us softly day by day. I'm not a smoker but I still remember my collage friend shows me how badly is a cigratte destroy her by blowing smoke on a tissue. Coffee costs diabetes; smoking costs lung cancer. [Design] Hope or Heaven?

12 May 2008, a natural disaster falling at Si Chuan, China. Many of Chinese death and suffering after the earthquake. Many sad and miserable story continuous reported to the world everyday after that day. Below is one of the dialogue from the news which inspired me.

A student who stucking in the ruin was crying and said to his/her friend: "Ma Jian, please don't leave me before I die". " You are the youngest in the class and the most vigorous one. I won't go and you must hold on there." said Ma Jian.

The poster shows the victims who straggling between hopeness and death in the ruin. Every life are trying hard to live, although all the blocks and difficulty are coming in few seconds. Which will you choose if you are the one of those victims, hope or heaven?
